Levels of Autonomy

Level 1-2: Driver assistance (cruise control, lane keeping).
Level 3: Conditional automation (hands-off in specific jams).
Level 4: High automation (no driver in geofenced areas).
Level 5: Full automation (anywhere, anytime).

We are currently mostly at Level 2+, pushing into Level 3.
